Explore the vibrant intersection of art and architecture in Downtown Atlanta!
Join us for Cultural Canvas, an engaging arts and architecture tour that begins in the business district of Downtown and winds toward South Downtown. Along the way, you’ll encounter captivating sculptures, murals, and temporary works of art that bring the city’s streets to life.
Robert Witherspoon from the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Kyle Kessler from the Center for Civic Innovation will lead the tour and share insights on city planning, historic preservation, and how public art enhances urban spaces.
Some of the amazing works we’ll explore include Five Points Monument by George Basley at Woodruff Park, the South Broad St. Art Murals, Gallery 72, and more. Through this walk, you’ll learn how walking through the city fosters unexpected moments of discovery and encourages a deeper connection with the urban environment.
