URBAN DESIGN COMISSION DESIGN AWARDS
ABOUT
The City of Atlanta is always striving to improve its buildings, places, and neighborhoods. One way to do that is to recognize the projects, programs, and people who are making that happen. The Urban Design Comission (UDC) Design Awards are an opportunity for the public to nominate a project, place, program, or person that is making Atlanta a better place to live, work, and play.
CITY DESIGN CORE VALUES
Our goal for all of the Projects within the Office of Design is to have our projects demonstrate at least one of the Atlanta City Design core values.
AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

There are several submission categories for the Awards of Excellence:

COMMUNITY DESIGN AWARDS
The Community Design Awards are projects, programs, or people who have worked to make the city or a neighborhood a better place to live. While there are no specific categories to submit for, there are ideas for nominations listed in the program booklet. Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs) vote which nomination submitted to the Office of Design is their Community Design Award winner.
